Quick apple cakes with very little sugar

Ingredients: for approx. 13 cakes

  • 250 g low-fat quark
  • 100 ground almonds
  • 130 g Ruut manioc flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 30 g raisins (optional)
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 30 g sugar
  • 1 egg, size L
  • 50 g soft butter
  • 2 sweet apples (approx. 380 g)

PREPARATION:

Tip :) Only use kitchen scales for our recipes and for weighing the flour.

  1. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut them into very small pieces.
  2. Place all the ingredients in a baking bowl and knead with your hands to form a sticky dough.
  3. Add the apples and knead them in briefly.
  4. Shape the dough into 13 small cakes/rolls (approx. the size of a golf ball)
  5. Bake them in a preheated oven at 190 °C, top and bottom heat, for approx. 25 minutes.
  6. Leave them to cool slightly, then you can enjoy them lukewarm.
