Focaccia recipe: Thin focaccia from the pizza baking mix

Focaccia Rezept: Dünne Focaccia aus der Pizzabackmischung

Makes 1 focaccia of approx. 30 cm diameter


  • 150 g of the pizza dough mix
  • 120 ml lukewarm water
  • 60 ml olive oil
  • Salt
  • Herbs of your choice (rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano)


Tip :) Only use kitchen scales for our recipes or to weigh the flour.

  1. Mix the pizza mix with the water and olive oil and stir everything with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth dough.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top and bottom heat.
  3. Roll out the focaccia dough on baking paper into a circle, approx. 30 cm in diameter, press it lightly with your fingers and brush with a little good olive oil.
  4. Finely chop the herbs (if you are using fresh ones), spread them on the focaccia and season with salt.
  5. Bake the focaccia for about 12 minutes until it is lightly browned. Don't bake it too long or it will be too crispy.
  6. Allow to cool briefly and then enjoy straight away.
