Focaccia recipe by: Selina S.
Makes 1 focaccia of approx. 30 cm diameter
Ingredients:
- 150 g of the pizza dough mix
- 120 ml lukewarm water
- 60 ml olive oil
- Salt
- Herbs of your choice (rosemary, thyme, sage, oregano)
PREPARATION:
Tip :) Only use kitchen scales for our recipes or to weigh the flour.
- Mix the pizza mix with the water and olive oil and stir everything with a wooden spoon until you have a smooth dough.
- Preheat the oven to 220 degrees top and bottom heat.
- Roll out the focaccia dough on baking paper into a circle, approx. 30 cm in diameter, press it lightly with your fingers and brush with a little good olive oil.
- Finely chop the herbs (if you are using fresh ones), spread them on the focaccia and season with salt.
- Bake the focaccia for about 12 minutes until it is lightly browned. Don't bake it too long or it will be too crispy.
- Allow to cool briefly and then enjoy straight away.
