How to bake a sugar-free apple cake in 5 steps
Tip :) Always use a kitchen scale for our recipe and for weighing ingredients such as the flour.
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C fan oven.
- Put all the ingredients except the apples in a bowl and whisk into a smooth batter.
- Coarsely grate the apples and fold them in. If you like, you can also fold a few raisins into the batter now – they add extra sweetness.
- Line a baking dish (approx. 20 x 20 cm) with baking paper and pour in the batter.
- Bake the cake for 35 minutes. Leave to cool in the baking dish.
Tip:
The cake stays fresh for a few days, but it should be stored in the fridge.
Whether for breakfast or as a healthy snack, it always tastes wonderful and gives you a good portion of protein. And since everything is mixed in just one bowl, it's a simple cake for any day of the week.
